David Roberts
Founder & Former CEO
After a childhood and eventually an on-the-rise thriving career in politics and government, Roberts returned to his small hometown in Eastern Oklahoma. He began writing grants as simply a means to help people, specifically those in his hometown which is where he began grant writing. Sooner State Strategies was his brainchild and Oklahoma is a better place because of the actions he and his team take each day to build new projects and make tap water drinkable once again.

Alex Smith

After a thriving career in many different businesses, Sooner Strategies was pleased to welcome Alex Smith to the team. As a motivated, results-oriented collaborator, Alex began as an intern working directly with Mr. David Roberts. Although Alex began as an Associate; during his second year he was able to apply as the Operations Associate, a role in Mr. Roberts' office that exposes those hired to rare work situations that sometimes include Film and TV celebrities, Presidents, special traveling , and firsthand knowledge of running a business, building strong contacts with others, and much much more.
